Phuket Seasons & Weather

There are two separate Phuket seasons, the dry season and the rainy season. These seasons are created by the tropical monsoon, with winds coming from the northeast in the dry season and then reversing southwest, bringing rain from the Indian Ocean. Whilst Phuket is warm 365 days a year, with temperatures ranging from 25-35 degrees, if coming on holiday between June and October you can find yourself stuck inside for a few hours due to the tropical showers.

Getting Around Phuket

With so much to see and do on Phuket away from the busy beach areas along the west coast, getting around Phuket, knowing what transport is available and the typical fares for certain journeys is a must before starting your holiday on Phuket. For those of you thinking of staying in a private villa or apartment, we always recommend renting a car or motorbike, instead of paying multiple times a day, often costing much more for taxi’s and tuk tuks.

Renting a car in Phuket is by far one of the best ways to see and experience the most of what Phuket has to offer.

One of the great things when renting a car is all of the great food stalls, scenic roads and sights you will find around every corner that most tourists don’t get to experience during their holiday.
